 Record Name MUK100 Uldale Beck Falls. Rowan.
 Record Description Multistem rowan at falls. TCL Site MUK101 Site Type A with species poor acidic vegetation which includes Ling, Bilberry, Crowberry, Hard fern,Broad Buckler fern,Heath bedstraw. Plant list not available yet. This is a characteristic waterfall on a high Pennine Beck with a limited acidic flora at the head of a small ravine cut through Namurian Sandstones.

 Additional Notes This rowan is the only tree here. This is usual at high level sandstone sites where rowan and sallows are often the only tree species present. There appear to be two trees here but close examination shows that they probably rise from one old bole. Cranberry (Vaccinium oxycoccos) seen in bog at Uldale Beck Head (NY806030,600m)
